We are thrilled to announce that the wetside changing village flooring at Walton-on-the-Naze Lifestyles is getting a fresh upgrade over the festive period!
These works are part of an ongoing commitment to improving your experience at Walton-on-the-Naze Lifestyles.
The project at the Tendring District Council-run (TDC) leisure centre will see the installation of a new wetside changing floor alongside cosmetic upgrades to the changing village.
The works will begin on Tuesday 16th December. In order to carry out these upgrades safely and efficiently, the Swimming Pool will be closed for the duration of the works. We anticipate that the pool will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026.
During this upgrade period, the gym facilities will remain open.
Between 16th December 2025 and 4th January 2026, Members are able to utilise the swimming facilities available at Clacton Leisure Centre and Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles. Members with Membership Packages such as One Activity – Swimming & Tendring Leisure Single Site which only permit access to Walton-on-the-Naze Lifestyles, will be able to utilise the swimming facilities at our other sites at no extra cost during the planned closure.
Please be advised that all fitness classes scheduled during the two-week period will be cancelled. Please note, Swim School at Walton-on-the-Naze lifestyles will now not operate from 16th December 2025 till 4th January 2026. Swim Lessons will resume on Monday 5th January 2026 at 4pm. Please note, that the additional days 16th December 2025 to 18th December 2025 & 2nd January 2026 to 3rd January 2026 will be credited by way of the DD collection amount.
