Pay As You Go Memberships

A membership with Tendring Leisure centres allows you to choose a level of access that suits you, so you can get the most out of the array of facilities and activities on offer.

Pay As You Go Level 1

This full paying Adult Membership allows you to book in advance for any of our causal activities on Pay-As-You-Go basis. With nothing to pay now it’s a great way to get active whilst having no monthly commitments. You can also use this section to sign up other family members.

Pay As You Go Level 2

This reduced rate Adult Membership allows you to book in advance for any of our causal activities on Pay-As-You-Go basis. With nothing to pay now it’s never been so affordable to keep active. To receive these reduced rates you will need to be either a full-time Student (aged 19+) or receiving employment support allowance (contribution based), personal independent payment, disability living allowance, carers allowance, Job Seekers Allowance (contribution based) or aged 60+ and in receipt of State Pension. Evidence is required to confirm eligibility, this will need to be shown on your first visit to use our facilities and then annually thereafter, in order to continue to benefit from this discount.

Pay As You Go Level 3

This further Reduce Rate Adult Membership allows you to book in advance for any of our causal activities on Pay-As-You-Go basis. With nothing to pay now it’s never been so affordable to keep active. To receive these reduced rates you will need to be either a full-time Student (aged 16-18) or in receipt of universal credits, Local Council Tax Support Working/Pensionable Age Scheme, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Based Employment Support Allowance, Guarantee Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit plus Tax Health Exemption Certificate. Evidence is required to confirm eligibility, this will need to be shown on your first visit to use our facilities and then annually thereafter, in order to continue to benefit from this discount

Non Member Casual Entry

For those not wishing to take out a Pay as you go membership; we offer casual entries to our Swimming Pools, Fitness Classes and Racquet Sports. No advance bookings can be made and access to the gym requires a Pay as you go membership and induction before entry.

Prices are based on our Level 1 charges for Adults and Level 3 for Children ages 3-15 Years.

Pay As You Go Child

This full Paying Childs Membership allows you to book in advance for any of our causal activities on Pay-As-You-Go basis. With nothing to pay now it’s a great way to get active whilst having no monthly commitments (ages up to and excluding 16 years)

Pay As You Go Child Level 3

This reduced Childs Membership allows you to book in advance for any of our causal activities on Pay-As-You-Go basis. With nothing to pay now it’s never been so affordable to keep your children active. To be eligible a Parent/Guardian you will need to be in receipt of universal credits, Local Council Tax Support Working/Pensionable Age Scheme, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Based Employment Support Allowance, Guarantee Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit plus Tax Health Exemption Certificate. Evidence is required to confirm eligibility, this will need to be shown on your first visit to use our facilities and then annually thereafter, in order to continue to benefit from this discount

Please note that a ‘one off’ start-up fee of £15 per adult and £10.50 per child is required when signing up for a membership for the first time. Full terms and conditions apply to all memberships.

*Due to the varying sizes of our gym facilities the lower rate is charged at Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles and Walton on the Naze Lifestyles.

Pay as You Go Members can book 7 days in advance from 10pm each evening for all Fitness Classes and Racquet Bookings.

Our Well Being Zone is for 16+ only. We also follow all user safety guidelines, therefore entry maybe denied under specific circumstances. Please ask a member of staff for more information.

No need to pre book for our Gym’s and Swimming Pools. Head over to each sites page for the timetable for each Pool.
