As part of our refurbishment of the changing rooms please be aware that the Wellbeing Zone at Clacton Leisure Centre will be closed from Monday 24 August to Sunday 6 September, reopening on Monday 7 September 2026. All members that use the Wellbeing Zone as part of their membership have been written to via email. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Please be aware that the pool hoist at Clacton Leisure Centre is currently out of service. We will update you as soon as we can. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please be aware on the 5th October at Clacton Leisure Centre the main hall will be closed between 9am - 5pm due to a dance event. There will also be a single lane closure in the pool between 11:30am - 1:30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please be aware the Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles pool will be closed for essential maintenance work on the 7th October between 12:30pm - 2:30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Pool Timetable Changes Due To Lifeguard Course

Clacton Leisure Centre will be hosting an NPLQ Lifeguard Course on 31st October 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th and 10th November.

Please note the following sessions will have a restriction on lane space to accommodate the water-based element of the course.

Thursday 31st Swim For All 130-230pm

Friday 1st 50+ and Inclusive & Swim for All 1130-2pm

Saturday 2nd Lane Swim 1130-1pm

Friday 8th 50+ and Inclusive & Swim for All 1130-130pm

Saturday 9th Lane Swim 1115-115pm

Sunday 10th Lane Swim & Swim For All 1130-330pm
