TENDRING LEISURE CENTRES TO RECEIVE NEW LEISURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Good news! Our Tendring Leisure Centres will be receiving a new Leisure Management System. 

We are pleased to announce that Legend has been appointed to configure our new Leisure Management System. The new system will launch on Wednesday 16th August 2023. The new system will provide a wide range of benefits to our members, including: 

• A brand-new Tendring Leisure Centres App, which allows members to book classes, lessons, and courses, racket sports, and much more. The app is completely user-friendly and will significantly improve our communication methods through push notifications. We will advise when the app is available for our customers in the coming weeks.
• Pay As You Go Members will be able to pre-book their chosen activity, including the Gym, Swimming, Wellbeing Zone, and Fitness Classes, once the App is available, which will prevent queuing time in reception and allow access upon your arrival.
• Customers will be able to purchase a membership online or via the app.
• Direct Debit and Annual Members will be able to book activities 10 days in advance via online booking or the app. Pay As You Go Members will be able to book 7 days in advance.
• Members will be able to access their membership card on their phone, allowing them quick and easy turnstile access by scanning the barcode on the scanners located on the turnstiles. Please bear with us, while we change our access control system to accommodate this new function.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind customers that Racket Sports Activities will be bookable as one court per day, per Racket Sport Activity. Further courts can be purchased should you wish to book more than one court. 

We believe that all the above features and benefits will enhance the customer’s journey and experience within our leisure centres.

As previously communicated, Loyalty Points will no longer be a feature of the new Legend system.

As part of the configuration and implementation of the new Leisure Management system, Online Joining has now been disabled. Online Booking will be disabled on Monday 14th August 2023. Bookings already made before this cut-off date will be automatically transferred to the new system. Tendring Leisure will not be accepting new bookings for a period of 48 hours, to allow the transition to take place smoothly. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Online Joining and Online Booking will be enabled on Wednesday 16th August 2023, when the new system goes live. 

Online Registration & Booking

Members who are intending to use the online services will need to follow the following steps, to gain access to the new online booking system:

• Press this link: https://tendringcouncil.legendonlineservices.co.uk/enterprise/account/login
• Click Register
• Enter your email and create a password, accept the T&Cs; and click Register.
• The member will then get an email with a verification link.
• Click on the link in the email, and they will be taken back to the online services and asked to re-enter the password that they just created.
• On the next page, the final step is to confirm their details against their member record in the system. To do this, they will need to enter their membership number and one of the following:
• Postcode
• Date of birth
• Phone number
