Good News! We are excited to announce that we have appointed Pulse Fitness to complete our Gym Fitness Equipment Installation across our three Leisure Centres.

We can confirm that Clacton Leisure Centre, Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles and Walton on the Naze Lifestyles will receive state-of-the-art fitness equipment and a new functional fitness area at Clacton Leisure Centre.

The refurbishment works will commence on Monday, 26^th September 2022, across our Centres and due to the nature of installation our gym facilities will be closed to the public. We anticipate that the installation will be completed by Wednesday, 28^th September, and the gym will reopen Thursday, 29^th September, at Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles and Walton on the Naze Lifestyles. Clacton Leisure Centre gym and the studio will reopen Friday 30^th September.

Due to the nature of the works being undertaken, we have to restrict access to Studio 1 at Clacton Leisure Centre. With this in mind, we anticipate a slight disturbance to Clacton Leisure Centre’s Fitness Class Timetable, with most classes being relocated to the Sports Hall or Studio 2. This will be communicated in centre and via our Social Media platforms as the project progresses. All other facilities across our centres will remain open throughout this period, including Swimming Pools, Wellbeing Zone, Sports Halls, Tennis Courts and AstroTurf Pitches.

We recognise that this would be an inconvenience; however, we hope you can appreciate that this will enhance the product delivery of our gym facilities across all sites, and we look forward to welcoming you all to our newly refurbished gym facilities in the near future.

Finally, we would like to provide all our members with a Free Day Pass for a friend or family member to thank you for your continued support. You can claim this by printing off the attached voucher from the email sent to all members and present this to the reception desk upon arrival. If you did not receive the email please email memberships@tendringdc.gov.uk with your full name and membership number.
